Students will learn and understand what it means to be a refugee and will make connections between themselves and refugees. During this lesson students will complete activities to help them empathize with refugees who are in various unfortunate situations. Students will learn how refugees face feelings of loneliness and rejection when displaced and will develop a personal understanding of what they can do to help.
