March 2011 Trip

Members of the Darfur Dream Team visited Djabal and Goz Amer refugee camps from March 21-31, 2011. Throughout the trip, we offered exciting opportunities for American students and teachers to connect with their Darfuri peers. We'll be posting more updates, photos and videos soon!

Watch a replay of a live Darfuri school assembly

On Tuesday March 29, 2011 at 10 a.m. EST/7 a.m. PST we live-streamed an assembly of students and teachers. American students were able to watch live and submit questions before and during to ask the Darfuri refugees. Watch a replay of the assembly.

You can also watch a replay of a town hall meeting that was held with the refugees in Djabal camp during our December 2010 trip.

Write a letter to your Sister School

The deadline has now passed, but we received letters from many of our U.S. Sister Schools and we'll be delivering them to the Darfuri refugee camps on this trip. If you missed out on this opportunity to connect, look for it again before our next trip in Fall 2011.
